DONATION

True to the vision of the NsoInspired Foundation – changing the lives of the underserved communities through health care, and a collaboration with the Mayor of Kumba 3, a donation to help this crisis situation was presented to the hospital on March 16th 2019. This will be the 2nd project by the NsoInspired Foundation. Our first project in 2016 was to provide caterat surgery and corrective glasses.

CATARACTS

Cataracts are a common age-related vision problem. About 22 million Americans age 40 and older have cataracts, and the older a person gets the greater the risk for developing cataracts. Women are more likely to develop cataracts than men, and African-Americans and Hispanic Americans are at particularly high risk. In addition to age, other factors may increase the risk of cataract development.

HOW WE WORK WITH THE COMMUNITY

Together we make all the difference

The health care issues we engage in are wildly disparate, but they share the characteristics of being deeply rooted, dynamic, and complex. None will be solved easily and quickly, and none will be solved through our efforts alone.

We do all of our work in collaboration with partners and volunteers throughout the community, who join with us in taking risks, pushing for new solutions, and harnessing the transformative power of science and technology. We strive to engage with our partners a spirit of trust, and communication. Our successes depend on the support of communities, and many individuals.
